ABOUT ME

My name is Deborah Kelly.  I am a Fitness Coach, Fat Loss Nutritionist and Sports Massage Therapist.  I have always loved sport and training has always been a huge part of my life.  People have always told me to train others and now I have decided to do just that.  I am now in my 50's and  in  Perimenopause  which has come with a lot of struggles including weight gain.  What has helped me get though this time is training my body and my mind.  It has really helped me to cope with the effects Perimenopause has had on me .

When I initially went to my doctor asking for help with my symptoms I was given a prescription for anti-depressants.  I threw it in the bin because I knew I wasn't suffering with depression but with extreme symptoms of depression caused by Perimenopause.  I really was losing my motivation to train and honestly the motivation for life.  I just refused to give up on myself and continued to push myself to do some form of exercise every day even if it was just a walk.  The weight just kept piling on and that just caused me to feel worse about myself.  Along with starting HRT my turning point was studying nutrition and creating a food and training plan for myself.  I learned how to cut my calories but still enjoy my food whilst continuing to train.  Bit by bit my mojo returned and I began to find the love for fitness all over again.

 Training through Menopause and Perimenopause is hugely beneficial for your mental health and helps prevent osteoporosis and heart disease.  It also helps with muscle mass keeping us strong and able to do day to day activities.  We can lose 10% of muscle mass  in perimenopause alone.  Through my passion for health and fitness I have developed this platform to help people who struggle just like I did.  I am still not where I want to be but I believe together we are better. Join me on this journey to helping women and men of all ages feel their best and lets say goodbye to feeling old and live our lives with vitality and vigour!

MISSION

Here at Trimteam it is our mission to help and show people that it doesn't matter what age you are when you begin your fitness journey as long as you begin.  Staying fit as we age is incredibly important for our longevity.  It helps to keep our muscles & bones strong, helps to keep our hearts healthy and also helps our minds.  It really is the biggest gift that you can give yourself.  We have created this Fitness platform to help you stay strong as you age so that you can keep doing your day-to-day activities without becoming dependant on others.

VISION

Our vision is to empower people to transform their lives through fitness.  With just 3 classes per week you will be amazed at the results.  We aim to create a community of strength, wellness and personal growth.
